👀 What to Expect:
Dozens of meticulously crafted, radio-controlled model boats and yachts on display and in action
A huge variety of models including lifeboats, warships, tugs, paddle steamers, fishing boats, ferries, and possibly even a seaplane!
Themed flotillas running every 45 minutes throughout the day
Expert model makers on hand to showcase how these incredible crafts are built – perfect for anyone interested in getting started!
The Camborne Pond Hoppers were founded in 2000 by the late Godfrey Copeland. Since then, with the kind support of South Kerrier Alliance CIC, the club has made its home at Coronation Park, where it continues to thrive. The Spring Open Day is one of two exciting public events the club holds each year.
🛶 Don’t miss this rare opportunity to see these remarkable creations in action in the heart of Helston – a fun, fascinating, and free day out for all ages!
