Sarah manages the day-to-day SKA operation, including The Old Cattle Market, Coronation Park, Helston Gateway and events and activities. Sarah is a graduate of the School of Social Entrepreneurs and has managed the South Kerrier Alliance operation as Business Director for over 10 years. Having previously managed public buildings and venues (eg. Cornish Seal Sanctuary), Sarah has in depth experience in public engagement and events management as well as strong financial and team management skills, with specialism in governance of community assets.

Guy is a cultural producer and community leader, bringing over fifteen years of experience in Cornwall's creative sector and specialising in developing sustainable cultural programming and community spaces.

As Creative Producer at Trebah Garden, he transformed the gardens 300-seat amphitheatre into a vibrant cultural venue, managing projects ranging from heritage exhibitions and site-wide immersive experiences to intimate community gatherings and education programs. His work at Trebah included delivering a £150k+ community outreach project, coordinating live TV broadcasts, and developing partnerships with major brands while engaging audiences from age 5 to over 100.

Since 2008, he has led Cousin Jack's theatre company, notably producing the annual production of The Mousehole Cat, which has been seen live by over 50,000 people across Cornwall, London, and during its successful USA tour.

His commitment to community development is demonstrated through his three-year tenure as Chair of RJ Working, a charity focused on youth restorative justice, and his current role as Vice-Chair of the Helston Place Shaping Board.

Guy is currently leading an exciting new venture, Trevow Helston CIC, developing a disused chapel in Helston into a hub for creative and community projects.

In 2024, Guy was elected into the College of Bards of Gorsedh Kernow for promoting Cornish Identity and Culture through Cornish Drama. His bardic name is "Kunteller a Bobel" which means Gatherer of People.

Michelle completed AAT Level 4 in 2013 and is employed by South Kerrier Alliance CIC on a part time basis as a Financial Controller and Company Secretary. Michelle is an AAT Fellow through her business, Shoreline Accountancy Services supporting clients including, sole traders, limited companies, charities, and community interest companies. With extensive knowledge of working with and supporting local CIC's, Charities and Community Groups, Michelle provides SKA with financial management including cash control, invoicing and payments, VAT and grant claims management.

With broad experience in the construction industry as CEO of several innovative construction companies, David has managed all aspects of large-scale construction projects in both public and private sector. Now retired, his wide knowledge of fund-raising, corporate management, finance and governance has been put to good use in voluntary roles in Cornwall, especially as Chair of SKA.
As a director and trustee, he has supported the establishment of numerous local CICs, charities and community groups, including Helston based Museum of Cornish Life, Helston CIC, Porthleven CIC as well as SKA, all very active not-for-profit community organisations. David joined the SKA Board in 2009 and has delivered several successful community devolution projects working with Cornwall Council. He also chaired Helston Place Shaping Board from inception until 2023 and continues to actively support Place Shaping plans.

Vicki Marshall, ‘The Garden Lady’ is a gardener, plantswoman and nursery owner based on the southern slopes of Godolphin Hill in West Cornwall, between Helston, Penzance and St Ives. Vicki represents local producers on the SKA Board and leads SKA activities aimed at promoting local food and the environment.
Vicki brings broad experience of local produce, small business management and the environment. The Helston Farmers’ Market is one of the largest farmers’ markets in Cornwall which Vicki leads along with Sarah Pellow, having initiated the market in 2010. She attends as a regular trader and is well-known throughout SW Cornwall as a champion for local producers.

Pip has recently joined the Board of SKA, having worked with the SKA team for a number of years providing community-based fitness classes to all ages, and teaching Health & Wellbeing sessions for Inclusion Cornwall and Cornwall Neighbourhoods 4 Change (CN4C) within SKA’s Old Cattle Market building.
With previous experience as a KS2 schoolteacher, Education Development Officer and Sure Start Deputy Manager she has a wealth of experience across the Education sector. Pip now works as a Community Maker in for Penwith District (Penzance and surrounding area) funded by NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Integrated Care Board, managing the links between the voluntary and community sector with public sector statutory organisations.
Pip provides the Board with links into both the Education and Health sectors.

Wendy provides the link to local business and also supports the IT and publicity aspects of SKA. She is co-founder and CEO of Negys Limited, the creators of Anytime Booking, a complete online booking, reservation and management system for camping, glamping and self-catering accommodation providers. Wendy is a very active member of the community having served on Helston Town Council and numerous community and local sports groups.
Wendy’s broad expertise in IT, social media, on-line collaboration and publicity supports the SKA team and helping to efficiently promote activities and events across the region.
