Coronation Park forms the most northern section of a chain of greenspaces which link Helston, via the National Trust owned Penrose estate, to the coast at Loe Bar and Porthleven. A spectacular hidden jewel in West Cornwall.

Free-to-access, the Park is widely used by all generations and forms a very important part of community life in Helston.

What’s Here

Lakeside Cafe

Run by the team from Naughti But Ice in Porthleven, our cafe is open daily from 10am until 4pm serving delicious, locally-sourced meals, cakes and drinks.

Lakeside Cycle Hire

Our resident cycle hire and cycle servicing and repair business, located one of the most scenic cycle routes in West Cornwall.

Skatepark

A large and varied, much-loved skatepark operated by the South Kerrier Alliance CIC in the centre of the park.

Play Park

Slides, swings, climbing walls and more all feature in our children’s play park located next to the cafe.

Boat Hire

Operated by the Lakeside Cafe team canoes and family pedalos are available to hire throughout the summer. Find out more here.

Car Park

When you park in our car park your money directly feeds back into the community, supporting our projects for the residents of Helston.
