The perfect opportunity for you to throw on your dancing shoes and really let your hair down. Kernow style! Never been to a ceilidh before? You’re in for a treat!

Our lively event features:
Live Folk Band: Enjoy energetic, toe-tapping tunes that will get everyone moving
No Experience Necessary: Complete beginners welcome! The caller will guide you through each step
Dance at Your Own Pace: Feel free to participate in as many or as few dances as you like – there’s no pressure!
Refreshments Available: Our bar opens before the dancing begins and remains open throughout the evening to keep you refreshed

Ceilidhs are all about community and fun – expect to laugh, meet new people, and perhaps work up a sweat! Come as you are and prepare for an evening of joyful celebration.

All tickets for this event are priced at £10 and should be pre-booked.

What do I need to know?

• This event takes place inside a red and yellow big-top circus-style tent next to the play area at Coronation Park, Helston, TR13 0RA.
• Seating, if applicable, is provided.
• There is a small pay and display car park next to the tent as well as a larger car park at Castle Green. Free parking is available at the nearby Fairground car park.
• For daytime events, Lakeside Cafe will be open serving hot and cold drinks, ice creams, cakes and a range of family-friendly lunchtime meals. For evening events refreshments will be available inside the tent.
• There is level access to Coronation Park and into the tent. If you have any additional access needs that you’d like to discuss with us please email Guy on guy@theoldcattlemarket.co.uk
• There are accessible toilets at the rear of Lakeside Cafe.
• Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted inside the tent.
• Latecomers cannot be admitted.
• Events may be filmed or photographed and the material may be used by the South Kerrier Alliance CIC and it’s partner companies/organisations at any time for evaluation, promotion or other projects. Please be aware that it is the ticket buyer’s responsibility to inform members of their party that this will be happening.
• Tickets are non-refundable.
