Get ready to swing! Cornwall’s own Company B bring their electrifying 1940s-inspired sound to Coronation Park for a summer evening of live music by the lake.

This rowdy seven-piece jump jive band have been setting stages alight across the South West for over 14 years – and their reputation as one of the most entertaining live acts in Cornwall is well deserved. Expect a rock-solid rhythm section, a blasting horn lineup, and dynamic vocals that veer from rowdy chant to silky tight harmonies. They play the classics from Louis Prima and Louis Jordan alongside their own tongue-in-cheek originals, creating a hot atmosphere which is surprisingly cool to all ages.

Whether you’re a die-hard swing fan or just love a good party, this is a toe-tapping, hip-shaking, feel-good night out in the park.

Bring a picnic, grab a drink, and dance the evening away under the Cornish sky.

Flexible Ticket Prices

The South Kerrier Alliance CIC own and run Coronation Park for the “benefit of the residents of Helston and The Lizard” and we want everyone to be able to enjoy our events. To try and make our events as accessible as possible, we are offering various ticket prices for this event and a free ticket draw. Please book the ticket that reflects what you can afford right now. You won’t be asked any questions and your ticket options won’t be shared with anyone.

What do I need to know?

• This open-air event takes place in Events Square, directly outside Lakeside Cafe at Coronation Park, Helston, TR13 0RA.
• Please bring your own chairs and/or blankets. Seating is not provided.
• A licensed bar will be selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as snacks.
• Outdoor events will only be cancelled in extreme weather conditions, so please dress for the Cornish weather and bring a coat. Please don’t bring umbrellas as they block the view for other audience members.
• There is a small pay and display car park at Coronation Park — all proceeds support the running of the park. There is a larger pay and display car park at Castle Green and at the nearby Fairground car park.
• There is level access to Coronation Park and Events Square. If you have any additional access needs that you’d like to discuss with us, please email Guy at guy@lovehelston.co.uk.
• There are accessible toilets at the rear of Lakeside Cafe.
• Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted at events.
• Events may be filmed or photographed and the material may be used by the South Kerrier Alliance CIC and its partner companies/organisations for evaluation, promotion or other projects. Please make sure everyone in your party is aware of this.
• Tickets are non-refundable.
