Don’t build the fire too high\, sing too loud or laugh too heartily because he’s out there and he’s hungry. \nAward-winning circus company Nikki & JD are bringing their spectacular outdoor show Fireside to Coronation Park\, and it’s completely free. This is a modern retelling of Beowulf – that ancient epic your English teacher might have mentioned – but forget dusty old tales. This is dark\, comic\, physically dangerous\, and utterly thrilling. \nOver 45 minutes\, world-class performers will combine breathtaking circus skills\, dance\, theatre and live music to bring this legendary story to life. Learn about how animals evolved\, how their amazing adaptations help them survive in the wild\, and how animals can help us learn more about ourselves.
