DESCRIPTION:Amplify DJ Academy (11-17 years)\nCommencing 27th January for 6-weeks\nSession Times: 6pm-7pm or 7pm-8pm\nBOOK HERE\nEver wanted to try DJing? Here’s your chance to get hands-on with the decks and learn from the pros. \nJoin Professional Tutors and DJs from Amplify for 6-weeks of DJ lessons where you can discover what it takes to mix tracks\, create transitions\, and get a crowd moving. Whether you’ve never touched a deck before or you’re already mixing at home\, this session is for you. \nFollowing the huge success of October’s half-term workshop\, this is an opportunity to progress your skills over the 6-week course.  We will be running 2 sessions 6pm-7pm or 7pm – 8pm.  Space is limited so make sure you book your slot early! \nWhat’s Happening: \n\nFREE SPACES available for 11-18 year olds subject to eligibility – see booking information.\nProfessional Tutor Team.\nEach week you’ll receive 1-hour of tuition and 1-hour of studio hire at a time to suit you to practice your mixing!\nAll abilities welcome – complete beginners to experienced DJs\nShare your favourite tunes and get tips on mixing and technique\nTry out professional equipment in a supportive environment\nHear what’s possible and get inspired by meeting students who’ve been through the programme\n\nNo pressure\, no judgement – just come along\, have a go\, share your music taste\, and see if DJing is for you. \n  \n \nWhat do I need to know? \n\nWho is The Basement for?\nThe Basement isn’t just another youth centre – it’s the space you asked for\, designed by you\, built for you. The space is primarily for 11-18 year olds. Your basement. Your rules. Your future starts here.\n\nI need dropping off in a car. Where?\nThe Basement is in Trengrouse Way pay and display car park. \n\n\nDo I have to book?\nWe have a limited capacity and booking means we can guarantee you a space.  If we have space available we may be able to take walk-ins on the day but we cannot guarantee this. \n\n\nWhat is access like?\nWe have level\, step-free access from the car park into the building as well as accessible toilets.
