DESCRIPTION:New regular weekly event\nFeaturing tournaments and terrains\nFridays 6.30pm-10pm\nRoll the Dice bring their tabletop sessions to The Basement in Helston! These sessions are perfect for anyone looking to play tabletop games with their friends in a warm and supportive environment. Open to players from 13+\, all you need are your models and an opponent – we will provide the mats and terrain! £5 for non-Basement members\, £3 for those with a membership. \nParents please note: \nFor any under 16s\, we will be requiring written consent and safeguarding forms to be completed\, outlining expected code of conduct during the sessions and for under 16s to be collected before 9pm.\nFor 16+ we will be requiring information on how they are leaving the sessions safely\, if after 9pm.\n\nWhat do I need to know? \n\nWho is The Basement for?\nThe Basement isn’t just another youth centre – it’s the space you asked for\, designed by you\, built for you. Cornwall’s own Company B bring their electrifying 1940s-inspired sound to Coronation Park for a summer evening of live music by the lake. \nThis rowdy seven-piece jump jive band have been setting stages alight across the South West for over 14 years – and their reputation as one of the most entertaining live acts in Cornwall is well deserved. Expect a rock-solid rhythm section\, a blasting horn lineup\, and dynamic vocals that veer from rowdy chant to silky tight harmonies. They play the classics from Louis Prima and Louis Jordan alongside their own tongue-in-cheek originals\, creating a hot atmosphere which is surprisingly cool to all ages. \nWhether you’re a die-hard swing fan or just love a good party\, this is a toe-tapping\, hip-shaking\, feel-good night out in the park. \nBring a picnic\, grab a drink\, and dance the evening away under the Cornish sky. \nEvent-Specific Information \n\nSuitable for all ages.\nThis is a ticketed event that requires pre-booking.\nBring your own chairs and/or blankets.\n\nFlexible Ticket Prices \nThe South Kerrier Alliance CIC own and run Coronation Park for the “benefit of the residents of Helston and The Lizard” and we want everyone to be able to enjoy our events. To try and make our events as accessible as possible\, we are offering various ticket prices for this event and a free ticket draw. Please book the ticket that reflects what you can afford right now. You won’t be asked any questions and your ticket options won’t be shared with anyone. \n\n\n£19 Supporter Ticket\nThis ticket includes a donation to support South Kerrier Alliance CIC’s work. \n\n\n\n\n£14 Just a Ticket\nThis ticket covers our core costs of the event. \n\n\n\n\n£10 Helping You Ticket\nIf you can only afford this ticket right now\, that’s not a problem. \n\n\n\n\n£5 Under 16 Ticket \n\n\n\n\n£0 Event Ticket Draw\nIf you cannot afford a ticket right now please enter our free ticket draw here. We will give away as many tickets as we are able to and we will inform you if you have won tickets a minimum of three days before the event. \n\n\nWhat do I need to know? \n\nThis open-air event takes place in Events Square\, directly outside Lakeside Cafe at Coronation Park\, Helston\, TR13 0RA.\nPlease bring your own chairs and/or blankets. Seating is not provided.\nA licensed bar will be selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as snacks.\nOutdoor events will only be cancelled in extreme weather conditions\, so please dress for the Cornish weather and bring a coat. Please don’t bring umbrellas as they block the view for other audience members.\nThere is a small pay and display car park at Coronation Park — all proceeds support the running of the park. There is a larger pay and display car park at Castle Green and at the nearby Fairground car park.\nThere is level access to Coronation Park and Events Square.
