DESCRIPTION:FREE Yoga in Coronation Park\nwith Kirsty\nA South Kerrier Alliance Funded Project\nMultiple Dates starting Sunday 15th June\nYoga is beneficial for both the body and mind\, offering a range of physical and mental health advantages.  It enhances flexibility\, strength and balance\, while also promoting stress relief and improved mental well-being. Regular practice can lead to better sleep\, reduced anxiety\, and improved mood.  \nThe South Kerrier Alliance CIC own and run Coronation Park for the “benefit of the residents of Helston and The Lizard” and we want everyone to be able to enjoy our events. \nThe series of Yoga sessions in Coronation Park is being funded by South Kerrier Alliance CIC.  If you would like to support more free yoga sessions in the park and other events you can donate via this link Donate Here\n🧘 Yoga at Coronation Park – Everything You Need to Know\nWho can take part?We welcome everyone — from total beginners to experienced yogis! Kirsty\, our qualified and experienced instructor\, is great at leading mixed-ability sessions. It’s the perfect chance to try yoga for the first time. \nHowever\, please note: \n\n\nIf you’re under the care of a doctor or medical professional\, speak with them before attending. \n\n\nIf you’ve been advised not to take part in physical activity\, are pregnant\, or have a medical condition\, illness\, or injury\, please do not take part in Yoga in the Park. \n\n\nKirsty cannot offer specific medical advice\, but she ensures plenty of accessible options during the session. \n\n\nYoga is a physical activity and you participate at your own risk. \n\nDo I need to book?No booking needed — just turn up! Please arrive on time as important safety info and the warm-up happen at the start. Latecomers won’t be able to join the session. \n\nAre families welcome?Yes! Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or carer\, who should stay nearby at all times. Parents/carers are fully responsible for their children during the session. \n\nWhat should I bring? \n\n\nA yoga mat (or towel/blanket if you don’t have one). \n\n\nA limited number of mats will be available to borrow. \n\n\nWater and anything else to help you feel comfortable. \n\n\n\nWhat should I wear?Anything comfy that you can move and stretch in! \n\nWhat if it rains?Sessions continue in light rain under the Pavilion. For heavier weather\, check the Coronation Park Facebook page — cancellations will be announced at least 1 hour before the session. \n\nParking \n\n\nSmall pay & display car park at Coronation Park (proceeds support the park). \n\n\nLarger car park at Castle Green. \n\n\nFree parking nearby at Fairground car park. \n\n\n\nToiletsAvailable at The Old Cattle Market during yoga sessions. \n\nOther FAQs🚫 Dogs are not permitted at yoga sessions.📸 Events may be filmed/photographed and used by South Kerrier Alliance CIC or partners for promotion/evaluation. From “Greased Lightnin'” to “You’re the One That I Want\,” this iconic film continues to capture hearts with its irresistible energy and nostalgic charm. \nBut your night of entertainment does more than just create memories for you – by purchasing tickets to our Grease screening\, you’re directly supporting our free Moana 2 showing for local children and families. Your attendance helps ensure that everyone in our community\, regardless of financial circumstances\, can experience the magic of cinema. \nWith a range of affordable ticket options available\, you can choose how you’d like to enjoy this classic while making a meaningful difference. Every ticket sold helps a child experience the wonder of movies on the big screen at no cost to their family. \nBring your blankets and folding chairs\, pack a picnic or visit our bar\, and settle in for a night of feel-good fun with a purpose. To try and make our events as accessible as possible\, we are offering various ticket prices for this event and a free ticket draw. Please book the ticket that reflects what you can afford right now. You won’t be asked any questions and your ticket options won’t be shared with anyone. \n£15 Supporter Ticket\nThis ticket includes a donation to support South Kerrier Alliance CIC’s work \n£12 Just a Ticket\nThis ticket covers our core costs of the event \n£10 Helping You Ticket\nIf you can only afford this ticket right now we all understand \n£5 15 Year Old or Younger Ticket \n£0 Show Ticket Draw\nIf you cannot afford a ticket right now please enter our free ticket draw. We will give away as many tickets as we are able to and we will inform you if you have won tickets a minimum of three days before the event. To enter the ticket draw please click here. \nWhat do I need to know? \n\nPlease bring your own chairs and/or blankets for this event. Seating is not provided.\nA licensed bar will be selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as snacks.\nThis open-air event takes place in Events Square\, directly outside Lakeside Cafe at Coronation Park\, Helston\, TR13 0RA.\nOutdoor events will only be cancelled in extreme weather conditions\, so please bring a coat (but not an umbrella as it blocks the view of other audience members).\nThere is a small pay and display car park at Coronation Park\, proceeds from the car park supports the running of Coronation Park. There is a larger Cornwall Council pay and display car park at Castle Green. Free parking is available at the nearby Fairground car park.\nThere is level access to Coronation Park and Events Square.
