Kick off the holidays with a free outdoor screening of Disney’s heartwarming live-action hit Lilo & Stitch at Coronation Park. \nGrab the kids\, pack a picnic (or treat yourself to something from Lakeside Cafe)\, spread out your blankets by the lake and enjoy a feel-good family film on the big screen in the great outdoors. This is one of four free open-air cinema screenings this summer\, brought to you by the South Kerrier Alliance — completely free for the whole community. \nThis film is rated PG. \nSupport free events at Coronation Park \nThis year\, over 60% of our events at Coronation Park are completely free. We do this because we believe that everyone in Helston and on The Lizard deserves access to brilliant events — regardless of what’s in their pocket. The South Kerrier Alliance CIC is a not-for-profit organisation and we don’t receive any regular public funding. Every free event we put on is only possible because of the support of people like you. If days like this matter to you and your community\, please consider making a donation here. \nEvent-Specific Information \n\nSuitable for all ages.\nThis is a free event. No booking required — just turn up!\nPlease bring your own chairs and/or blankets. Seating is not provided.\n\nWhat do I need to know? \n\nThis open-air event takes place in Events Square\, directly outside Lakeside Cafe at Coronation Park\, Helston\, TR13 0RA.\nPlease bring your own chairs and/or blankets. Seating is not provided.\nLakeside Cafe will be open serving hot and cold drinks\, ice creams\, cakes and a range of family-friendly meals.\nOutdoor events will only be cancelled in extreme weather conditions\, so please dress for the Cornish weather and bring a coat. Please don’t bring umbrellas as they block the view for other audience members.\nThere is a small pay and display car park at Coronation Park — all proceeds support the running of the park. There is a larger pay and display car park at Castle Green. Free parking is available at the nearby Fairground car park.\nThere is level access to Coronation Park and Events Square. If you have any additional access needs that you’d like to discuss with us\, please email Guy at guy@lovehelston.co.uk.\nThere are accessible toilets at the rear of Lakeside Cafe.\nEvents may be filmed or photographed and the material may be used by the South Kerrier Alliance CIC and its partner companies/organisations for evaluation\, promotion or other projects. Bring a blanket\, grab a drink from the bar\, and settle in for a summer evening of laughs and music by the lake. \nYou’ll be humming it for days. Don’t say we didn’t warn you. \nThis film is rated 12A. \nBy purchasing a ticket for our evening screenings you’re directly helping to support our free daytime cinema screenings for local children and families.
