DESCRIPTION:Drop-in Yoga Workshop (6+)\nwith Kirsty\n12.45pm-2pm on Monday 27th October\nEveryone and all abilities are welcome to come and try this taster session. It’s time to find out if yoga is your thing? \nIf you have a mat please bring it along. \nNo need to book\, this is a drop in taster session \nWhat do I need to know? \n\nBring a mat if you have one – we do have some that we can lend you.\nAll participants should arrive in comfortable clothes that they can easily stretch in.\nWho is The Basement for?\nThe Basement isn’t just another youth centre – it’s the space you asked for\, designed by you\, built for you. The space is primarily for 13-18 year olds. Your basement. Your rules. Your future starts here.\n\nI need dropping off in a car. Where?\nThe Basement is in Trengrouse Way pay and display car park. \n\n\nDo I have to book?\nNot for this event\, but other events are bookable\, please always check to avoid disappointment. \n\n\nWhat is access like?\nWe have level\, step-free access from the car park into the building as well as accessible toilets. Here’s your chance to get hands-on with the decks and learn from the pros. \nJoin Natalie from Amplify for a relaxed drop-in workshop where you can discover what it takes to mix tracks\, create transitions\, and get a crowd moving. Whether you’ve never touched a deck before or you’re already mixing at home\, this session is for you. \nWhat’s Happening: \n\n6:00 pm – 8:00pm: Drop-in DJ workshop with Natalie\nAll abilities welcome – complete beginners to experienced DJs\nShare your favourite tunes and get tips on mixing and technique\nTry out professional equipment in a supportive environment\n8:00pm – 9:00pm: Live DJ set from Amplify pro students\nHear what’s possible and get inspired by students who’ve been through the programme\n\nNo pressure\, no judgement – just come along\, have a go\, share your music taste\, and see if DJing is for you.
