DESCRIPTION:Helston Picnic Pride\nHelston Town Council in partnership with South Kerrier Alliance\nSaturday 20th June | from 12pm\nFREE EVENT\nHelston Picnic Pride is back for 2026! Organised by Helston Town Council\, this free afternoon at Coronation Park celebrates our local LGBTQIA+ community with live music\, free crafting\, local acts and support groups. \nEveryone is invited. \nThis is Helston Town Council’s annual celebration of pride\, community and togetherness – a day for everyone to come together and show that Helston is a place where everyone is welcome. \nBring a picnic\, grab a coffee from Lakeside Cafe\, and enjoy an afternoon of music\, creativity and connection by the lake. \nWhether you’re part of the LGBTQIA+ community\, an ally\, or just looking for a lovely afternoon in the park with your family\, Helston Picnic Pride is for you. \nEvent-Specific Information \n\nSuitable for all ages. Everyone is welcome.\nThis is a free event organised by Helston Town Council. No booking required — just turn up!\nFree crafting activities available.\nSupport groups and community organisations will be present.\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat do I need to know? \n\nThis open-air event takes place in Events Square\, directly outside Lakeside Cafe at Coronation Park\, Helston\, TR13 0RA.\nPlease bring your own chairs and/or blankets. Seating is not provided.\nLakeside Cafe will be open serving hot and cold drinks\, ice creams\, cakes and a range of family-friendly meals.\nOutdoor events will only be cancelled in extreme weather conditions\, so please dress for the Cornish weather and bring a coat.\nThere is a small pay and display car park at Coronation Park — all proceeds support the running of the park. There is a larger pay and display car park at Castle Green. Free parking is available at the nearby Fairground car park.\nThere is level access to Coronation Park and Events Square. If you have any additional access needs that you’d like to discuss with us\, please email Guy at guy@lovehelston.co.uk.\nThere are accessible toilets at the rear of Lakeside Cafe.\nEvents may be filmed or photographed and the material may be used by the South Kerrier Alliance CIC and its partner companies/organisations for evaluation\, promotion or other projects. Please make sure everyone in your party is aware of this.
