DESCRIPTION:FILM KREW WORKSHOP  24 August – 26 August\nAges 10-14 | Monday – Wednesday | 10.00am – 3.00pm\nBOOK HERE\n\n\nLights\, camera\, action! Join us for a three day collaborative filmmaking adventure for ages 10–14. \nWorking together as a real film crew\, participants will take an idea from imagination to screen\, learning the creative and technical skills needed to make an original short film. Whether they enjoy performing\, directing or working behind the camera\, everyone will play an important role in bringing the story to life. \nThroughout the three days\, participants will: \n\nDevelop an original story and script together\nLearn camera\, sound\, lighting and filmmaking techniques\nExplore roles in front of and behind the camera\, including acting and directing\nFilm and edit their own collaborative short film\nCelebrate their achievements with a screening for family and friends on the final day\n\nWhen:  24–26 August\, Monday – Wednesday\, 10am -3pm \nScreening for family and friends on the final day \nTickets: £30 per child for the 3 days. 2 free places available please email basement@lovehelston.co.uk \nA fun\, hands on introduction to filmmaking\, storytelling and creative collaboration! \nWhat do I need to know? \n\n\n\nWho is The Basement for?\nThe Basement isn’t just another youth centre – it’s the space you asked for\, designed by you\, built for you. The space is primarily for 11-18 year olds. Your basement. Your rules. Your future starts here.\nI need dropping off in a car. Where?\nThe Basement is in Trengrouse Way pay and display car park.\nDo I have to book?\nWe have a limited capacity and booking means we can guarantee you a space. You can still turn up on the day and\, if we have room\, you’ll be able to come in.\nWhat is access like?\nWe have level\, step-free access from the car park into the building as well as accessible toilets. If you have additional access needs please contact us on hello@lovehelston.co.uk or drop in.\nWhere is The Basement?\nWe are in the basement of Helston Gateway (the former Budgens supermarket building) next to The Parade and in Trengrouse Way car park.
