It’s Flora Day — and Coronation Park is joining the celebrations!

While the town dances, the park comes alive with local crafters selling their wares alongside Raymond’s Amusements providing rides for little ones.

Whether you’re taking a break between dances, entertaining the kids, or just soaking up the Flora Day atmosphere, the park is the perfect place to be.

Pick up something handmade from a local maker, treat the children to a ride, and enjoy one of Helston’s most special days.

A free, drop-in event for the whole community.

Event-Specific Information

• Suitable for all ages.
• This is a free event. No booking required — just turn up!
• Rides are individually priced by Raymond’s Amusements.

What do I need to know?

• This event takes place inside a big-top circus tent next to the play area at Coronation Park, Helston, TR13 0RA.
• Seating is provided inside the tent.
• For daytime events, Lakeside Cafe will be open serving hot and cold drinks, ice creams, cakes and a range of family-friendly meals. For evening events, limited refreshments will be available.
• There is a small pay and display car park at Coronation Park — all proceeds support the running of the park. There is a larger pay and display car park at Castle Green. Free parking is available at the nearby Fairground car park.
• There is level access to Coronation Park and into the tent. If you have any additional access needs that you’d like to discuss with us, please email Guy at guy@lovehelston.co.uk.
• There are accessible toilets at the rear of Lakeside Cafe.
• Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted inside the tent.
• Latecomers may not be admitted.
• Events may be filmed or photographed and the material may be used by the South Kerrier Alliance CIC and its partner companies/organisations for evaluation, promotion or other projects. Please make sure everyone in your party is aware of this.
